Adjustment

Alright so I only went to the gym one time this week. But after that trainer put a hurting on me so bad I couldn't walk I feel justified.
Besides this is a lifestyle change, and being the foodie I am it's going to take time. I didnt get this way over night, so the inverse is going to take just as long.

The economy is bad and I still managed to eat out three times this week.

Off the Wagon

I really wanted to continue my gym momentum.

But Monday kicked my ass, which btw I've decided not to use that trainer anymore. If I'm in so much pain that I can go to the gym then it's pointless. I will be in there this weekend. Either saturday or Sunday, though I'd like to hope for both days.

I joined Spark people today. A co-worker recommended them. I can track my fitness goals and there is a menu delivered to my email everyday. Since my goal weight is 155. Last time I was 155 was my senior year in high school. Just before senior year I gave up cheese burgers for two months and I lost 20 pounds. I was down to 145. And it felt great!

I digress. I set my goal weight to 155 and if I lose 2 pounds a week I will hit my goal weight by 5/20/09. that's pretty far into the future, but at least i have a map now.

I'm starting to really get excited about this life style change.

My Life 2008

This has been REALLY good.

Even though i was worn out from Saturday's yoga class, I still went to the gym on Monday. I didnt get home until 10pm, but it was so worth it.

Tuesday mother nature had other plans, just as I was changing clothes, my monthly friend came for a visit. I was out of there in two seconds flat. Wednesday was our yearly team building meeting. After lunch we went and got our nails and toes done. I picked out polish for two of my co-workers, but they liked the one i chose for myself best.

Yesterday was my complementary training with LA Fitness. I was bummed to learn that I have 38% body fat. That's huge!

So this chick took me through a session. I was so exhausted when we finished I dont know how I got home. That out of body experience is still with me today. I was so tired last night I couldn't toss and turn last night, and when i crawled into the shower this morning I knew I was going to NEED a cup of black coffee. It's been a while since I has a use for one of those.

Mary J. was bumping in my ear this morning. While I walked into work this morning it felt like the sun was following me. With the trials I've been going through lately, I've earned it.

After all, everybody loves the sunshine.
